29 May Rosé is added to the high-end 1077 line of sparkling wine
The 1077 line of sparkling wine is one of the jewels in our winery’s crown.
It is made by carefully selecting the best grapes picked by hand on our Reggio Emilia hillside: elegant yet lively, they are the perfect sparkling wines for anyone who wants both a modern yet traditional wine.
Quality and innovation are the hallmark values of this line, which now welcomes its latest addition: the Spumante Rosato 1077 sparkling rosé which, with its brilliant colour, completes the range together with the Spergola sparkling wine and the sparkling red.
The Rosato 1077 is a fine brut sparkling rosé made from pure Lambrusco Sorbara grapes, carefully selected and picked by hand in the Scandiano foothills.
Once they arrive at the winery, the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press to preserve their quality. After an initial fermentation process at a controlled temperature, they undergo a secondary fermentation in an autoclave, then rest on the lees for up to 15 months. This gives the wine a finer bead and a more complex sensory profile. This produces our 1077 fine brut sparkling rosé using the long Charmat method.
The 1077 sparkling rosé is a lively yet elegant wine with a pleasant freshness and a lingering, fruity finish. It is best served in a wide-bowl flute at a temperature between 4 and 6 degrees. Excellent for your summer aperitifs, it is surprisingly good with a gourmet pizza or some very fresh sushi.
Now all that’s left to do is to try it… Cheers!
